| Biography Michal Mackowiak was born in Koszalin, Poland in 1983. He received the Master degree (with honors) in Electronics and Information Technology from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, in 2008. He is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Tecnico - Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2008, he has been researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicacoes, working in the field of wireless communications, and his main scope of research is Body Area Network radio channel modelling.
